The Simmonds family were the family of my Great Parents on my fathers’ mothers’ side of the family. Apparently when she followed her husband Gerard, across to New Zealand after marring in South Africa, the family basically cut her off and out of the family! The Simmonds were suppliers of temporary pavilions, tents and all things catering in London during the Victorian years. Their booklet is shown below!
